The leader of the Christian Democratic Party, Nard Ndoka, has stated that the US government has negotiated with Prime Minister Edi Rama to postpone the elections in Albania to October and create a technical government to implement them.
Ndoka made the comments on ‘Ditari i Mesditë’ with journalist Denisa Pasholli on A2 CNN, where he said that this was requested by the previous US administration, led by President Joe Biden.
He added that with Trump, the world reality, of which Albania is also a part, will continue to change for the better.
Ndoka also spoke about the US sanctioning of an Albanian cocaine criminal organization, which according to him, has roots all the way back to the Prime Minister.
“Trump is changing the world. He makes a move every minute to change this reality and fortunately, Albania is also included. It is not that the attention is only on Albania, but he has it with the whole world. Even the part of the administration that was there before, undoubtedly had such an agenda. They demanded rotation, they demanded that the election date be postponed. And this has also been negotiated with Prime Minister Rama.
Here I am saying it for the first time, I wrote on Facebook that I have very reliable information. That Rama has on his desk that the elections should be postponed to October, that the elections should be run by a caretaker government and this will also be sanctioned in the Constitution. This is being done to give more opportunities to the diaspora, not only for the issue of registration, but also for the consolidation of this process. To give more time to the CEC. To free ourselves from a person who has 2 files on his back, the babloku himself who was caught in electoral crime and cannot run these elections.
We have one step further, we are on the verge of declaring a criminal organization linked to cocaine in Albania, which could be sanctioned tomorrow. Characters from this gang go all the way to the prime minister. “We have many surprises and events ahead, which leads us towards October for the parliamentary elections,” Ndoka said, writes A2 CNN.
